The grinding wheel is one of the most main grinding tool in abrasive machining. The characteristics parameters of the grinding wheel mainly include abrasive, granularity, hardness, binding agent, shape, size, etc. Due to the grinding wheel is usually work under high speed, and thus it should be tested by turning test before using (to guarantee the grinding wheel not to burst as working at the highest speed) and static balance test (to prevent machine tool from vibration while working). After a period of time, the grinding wheel should be repaired and maintained to recover the grinding performance and the correct geometrical shape.
